About The Role

This is a qualified position. We welcome applicants with a Core Mental Health professional and/or clinical qualification such as but not limited to EMHP, CWP, PMHW, nursing with specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work).

Compass is the provider of Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in education settings in the city of Derby and Derbyshire.

We have had an opportunity arise for a Supervising Practitioner based from our Centre of excellence in Glossop.

This role is a real opportunity to help shape the services we provide with children, young people, families and educational settings and to develop your career in mental health support to children, young people and families.

About You

You will have at least 1 years’ post qualification experience working in a core mental health profession.

 In the role of Trainee Supervising Practitioner, you would be delivering training, evidenced based interventions and consultation to children, young people, families and educational staff.

You will also be supported by the service to learn and develop new skills in delivering CBT informed supervision. Once you have reached the required minimum competencies defined by HEE you will be required to undertake a PG Certificate in Clinical Supervision. On acceptance on to the training programme the post holder will progress to Band F which currently attracts a salary range of £37,092 - £45,347.

You will also be willing to undertake further training as required by the service.
