You’ll bring a solid foundation in mental health or a related field, supported by a nationally recognised qualification such as EMHP, CWP, mental health nursing, psychotherapy, or social work.
This must meet the MHST training requirements and be registered with the appropriate governing body, such as BABCP or NMC. With at least two years of experience working therapeutically to support the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people, you’ll have a proven ability to deliver evidence-based interventions and achieve meaningful outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a Postgraduate Certificate in supervision or management (or a willingness to undertake this qualification).
- Demonstrates expertise in CBT-informed interventions and clinical supervision, ideally in education or community settings.
- Is skilled in risk assessment, safeguarding, and collaborative work with diverse stakeholders.
- Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Holds a full driving licence and access to a vehicle (or equivalent).
Desirable attributes include mentorship experience, leadership in children’s services, and working in a skill-mixed team. A postgraduate therapeutic qualification or equivalent experience, particularly in low-intensity CBT, is highly valued.
