Do you want to be part of a team that helps young people turn their lives around?
As a Young Person’s Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (Substance Misuse – Criminal Justice), you’ll work with young people at risk of or already involved in the criminal justice system, giving them the tools, confidence, and support they need to make positive choices for their future.
You’ll be based in the community, working directly with young people in schools, youth clubs, and Youth Justice Services, providing tailored support that empowers them to break free from substance use and risky behaviours.
Whether through 1:1 sessions, group interventions, or engaging diversionary activities, you’ll help young people gain new skills, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies.
Collaboration is key in this role. You’ll work closely with youth justice teams, social workers, CAMHS, and education providers, ensuring young people have a network of support around them. You’ll also lead on early intervention and harm reduction strategies, giving young people the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions that keep them safe.
This isn’t just about tackling challenges—it’s about unlocking potential. Every conversation, every session, every young person you support contributes to stronger futures, safer communities, and real change.
