Supporting
schools to nurture young minds – this is your chance to make a real difference.
As
a Training
and Consultation Worker in the Derbyshire Early Intervention
and Targeted Support Service (EITSS), you will play a central role in helping
schools strengthen their approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health. By
delivering engaging
training packages, you will equip staff with the confidence and
skills to respond effectively to children and young people experiencing low
level mental health needs.
Your
work will also include providing professional consultation and coaching,
guiding teachers and school teams to develop practical strategies tailored to
individual pupils. Every conversation, training session and piece of guidance
you deliver will help staff feel more prepared and young people feel more
supported.
This is a role where partnership matters. You will
collaborate with schools, families and community networks, contributing to a whole
school approach that makes wellbeing visible, accessible and
effective. From safeguarding responsibilities to signposting evidence-based
resources, you will be part of a service that ensures every child and young
person gets the right help at the right time.
You will be part of a values-driven
team where integrity,
collaboration and innovation shape everything we do. With
opportunities for supervision, training and development, you will grow your
skills while making a lasting difference in Derbyshire’s schools and
communities.
