About The Role

Compass Changing Lives MHSTs is an early intervention and preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing service. The service delivers evidenced based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to support Changing Lives MHSTs, working locally with services and education in the city and county. You will have all the skills you would expect from a Senior Administrator but most importantly you will care about children and young people and want to make a difference.

The Senior Administrator, working alongside the Data and Administration Team Leader, Team Leaders and Service Manager will have responsibility for establishing integrated management information and administrative systems across the whole service including how information is recorded, collected, used, stored and analysed to ensure that services are aligned to best meet local needs. Based in Derby and Derbyshire the post will work with and support delivery of services to children, young people and families across the city and county.

The post holder will directly manage the Administrator/s and provides direction and support to the administration team providing for high quality, efficient and effective administrative functions. There will be requirement to work at both our Derby and Clay Cross Administration hubs.

About You

You will be a values-driven (integrity, valuing each individual, solution focused, consistent and reliable) colleague with a passion for supporting children, young people and families mental health and wellbeing. You will also have:

  • A NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a busy office and customer service environment
  • Experience of managing and supervising others within a team
