Compass is delighted to provide Mental Health Support Teams in education settings across West/North Birmingham (Handsworth, Lozells, Aston, Ladywood, Erdington) serving the children, young people and families and communities.
If you have the passion and drive deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and the community read on.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Compass’ new Mental Health Support Team supporting Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) leading on the delivery of digital interventions (i.e. OSI, Silvercloud, NVR), coaching CYPF through the programmes via frequent ‘check ins’ to provide encouragement, monitor progress and continuously review presenting needs.
The Digital Consultation & Training Practitioner will deliver training packages to schools with the aim of increasing staff confidence and competence in dealing with their CYP’s low level mental health needs in an education setting.
The role will work alongside colleagues to develop Compass’ Wave 12 MHST’s, building positive partnerships with education settings and other CYPF services to drive highly effective and CYPF focussed mental health and wellbeing services in line with the national MHST operating framework.
